Annual Enthusiasm towards New Yr Resolutions

new yr resolutionsWe’re all pumped once again to make that annual commitment in regards to changes in our lives. Do we address all our issues or only a few? Do I involve my family or others in these or just myself? Will I/we start them exactly on Jan 1st or a little later? Realistically, there are changes that will occur and those that won’t.

2012 left us with many changes; some within and some outside of our grasp. There were those events that were positive and those that were negative. Common sense would tell us that we need to focus on changing the negative influences/issues in our lives.

There is always the issue of engaging in a healthy lifestyle; monitoring what we eat, engaging in regular exercise, visiting our physician/dentist for recommended check ups and spending more time with our loved ones. Making the list is the easy part of the New Yr resolutions, but actually carrying the list to fruition is what I feel is the hardest yet most important part.

You know I’m going to say it; E is for excellence brought on by effort for everything good. There, now that I have that out-of-the-way, LET”S DO IT!!!  Doing something on a regular basis for a period of 2 weeks will create a habit. We all have to believe in our own resolve and realize that no one is going to do this for us. Must keep living and changing according to our surroundings.

I’m in no position to lecture, as I have to make my list as well. I’ve learned to be realistic with myself and make a short list of commitments and hope that 1 important choice advances on into my 2013 habits. I challenge you and your families into putting out the efforts to make and enforce your list!!!  Do check back with me here at and I’ll do my best in helping contribute ideas and/or tools to making your lives better. Happy New Years ya’ll.
