Kids Party!!!-How about Homemade Corn Dogs?

This recipe definitely falls in the keeper category! They are perfect and just the way I like them-no greasy texture. They are ALWAYS a popular hit with the kids. Total time from start to finish is approximately 30 minutes. Most people have all ingredients other than sticks, which you can find in restaurant supply or cooking stores. Relative inexpensive meal for a fun party!

2 Eggs

1 C Milk

2 C Bisquick

4 TBL Yellow Cornmeal

1/2 Tsp Paprika

2/8 Tsp. Cayenne Pepper

1 Tsp. Dry Mustard

2 Lb Frankfurters (found that recipe covers approx 14)

Blend Egg and Milk with whip. Stir in dry ingredients. Take Sticks and slide all the way in and up to the tip of the frank. Put Vegetable Oil in deep pan and heat. Once ready, dip Franks in batter and roll until covered and transfer immediately into hot oil for approx 3-5 minutes and turn golden brown. (I used a GrandPappy Deep Fryer by Presto). When done, transfer to cookie sheet covered with paper towels to absorb any traces of oil, then once finished cooking all, place on service platter. Usually condiments of Ketchup and French’s Mustard are all you need. Enjoy!!
