Belle’s Most Sinful Salted Caramel, Chocolate Infused, Walnut Brownies!!

After making the salted caramel pretzel brownies (obtained recipe from Pinterest) a few days ago (re-posted under my fave recipes), I decided to experiment and expound upon what I thought was a good recipe. Isn’t that what we’re supposed to do? Let the creative juices flow in your brain. From those who have tried them thus far, I hear, “You can only eat one of these-wow.” Truly Sinful!!!

Belle’s Sinful Salted Caramel, Double Chocolate Infused, Walnut Brownies

Betty Crockers Brownie Mix (recipe from scratch if you prefer)

1/3 C Hershey’s Butter Brittle Pieces or 2 Health Candy bars (broken into pieces)

1/3 C Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

1/3 Large Hershey Chocolate Bar (broken into pieces)

1/4 C Caramel ( 16.5 oz container of Caramel Dip)

Heat Oven to 350 degrees (or whatever the mix box states). Spray bottom of 13X9 pan with cooking spray. Follow recipe on Brownie Mix plus add in 1 C chopped walnuts. Once done, take separate bowl and mix Butter Brittle Pieces, Chocolate chips, Hersheys candy bar and 1/4 C of the Caramel, place in microwave and heat 1 minute on high, removing only to stir, then back in again for another minute, out and stir. Mixture should be creamy and blended upon stirring and if not, another minute in microwave. Once ready, blend the mixture into the brownie mix.  Pour into 13X9 pan and place in oven once temperature registers that instructed on box. Because of the add in mixture, I added another 2 minutes to the baking time. Do check middle of pan with toothpick to make sure brownie is done and toothpick comes out clean and/or brownies pulling away from sides of pan–do not overbake. Let pan cool completely on cooling rack. When cool to touch, pour remainder of caramel sauce on top and spread evenly. Salt lightly with coarse sea salt, then place pan in refrigerator, which helps caramel set up. Wella–Enjoy!! :))
