Ran upon this recipe on Pinterest by gimmesomeoven and it is a keeper for my files. I liked it so much that I’m passing this on. I did make a few changes from the original recipe and which are stated below. Enjoy!

1 Bx. Fudge Brownie mix (for a 9X13 pan)

(Egg, Water and Oil as instructed on box of mix)

3 Cups Pretzels (use whatever type you have)

16.5 oz caramel dip (in fruit section grocery store) LIGHT

                        Coarse Sea Salt

1)Preheat Oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9X13 baking pan with parchment paper or grease with cooking spray.

2)Prepare brownie batter according to package instructions.

3)Pour about 1/3 of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan. Spread until the bottom of the pan is evenly coated. Then add 2 even layers of pretzels, covering the entire surface. Carefully spoon the remaining brownie batter on top to cover the pretzels.

4)Bake for 30 mins or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the brownies comes out clean. Remove and set on a cooling rack to cool.

5)Spoon the caramel sauce onto the top of the brownies in an even layer. (If too thick spoon sauce into bowl first and microwave for 30 seconds to thin.) Sprinkle the caramel with a few pinches of coarse sea salt.

6)Recipe states serve warm or let cool then serve. I sliced them, then set pan in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up. Your preference.
